Keeping browser labs honest about tool depth
platformeducation
Browser labs let us ship quickly, but they risk teaching pretend clicks on pretend products. We counter that by naming which habits transfer and which require a real stack day.
Every module ends with a transfer note: what you should try on your employer console, and what you should not pretend to have learned here.
We also expose failure states: queries that time out, views that lie, and notes that get lost if you skip saves. Those annoyances are intentional.
If you are a participant, treat transfer notes as homework. One honest hour on your internal tool beats ten perfect clicks in a demo skin.
